The Guthrie High School golf team has yet to lose a tournament this season. After winning the Lake Dallas Falcon Four Ball tournament last week, the Bluejays won the Lawton MacArthur Tournament by 18 strokes over Elk City High School on Monday. This is the third consecutive time the Bluejays have won the Lawton MacArthur Tournament.
Over the course of the 36-hole tournament, junior Luke Morgan led the Bluejays with back to back rounds of 72, to finish in second place overall with a total of 144.
Junior Bo Robbins finished in seventh place after shooting 73 and 82 over the two rounds. Sophomore Brady Hirzel shot 76 and 81 to place 10th overall with a final score of 157.
The Bluejays were in action Tuesday afternoon in the Norman North Tournament at Jimmie Austin. They will have the rest of the week off before traveling to play at Rose Creek in the Deer Creek Tournament on April 1.
