Cashion High School football standout Alex Nabavi announced last night on Twitter that he will be continuing his football career at Oklahoma Baptist University next season.

“Excited to announce that I am committed to play football for @OBU_Football,” Nabavi said in the post. “Thank you to all those that have helped in this journey and believing in me.”
Nabavi was an integral part of the Wildcats run to the Class A State Championship game this season. In his senior season, the Little All-City Second Team wide receiver hauled in 49 receptions for 818 yards and 12 touchdowns. He also added 277 yards and three touchdowns on the ground on 31 carries. Nabavi finishes his career with 1,6663 yards of total offense and 23 touchdowns. Nabavi was also a key part of the Wildcats secondary in his career as a Wildcat, finishing with 53 tackles and eight interceptions.
