Crescent High School standout Hunter Bowers announced this week that he will be continuing his football career at Oklahoma State University as a preferred walk-on.
“It’s been a lifelong dream to play college football and now I get to change my dreams into reality,” Bowers said in a Tweet Tuesday morning.
Bowers will be looking to play the Cowboy Back, a hybrid position of fullback and tight end, for Oklahoma State.
Bowers did it all for Crescent during his time as a Tiger. He threw for over 4,300 yards and 52 touchdowns while rushing for 2,212 yards and 43 touchdowns.
Bowers helped lead the Crescent Tigers to the Class A state title game in 2017.
