Stephen “Steve” Herald Craven

DALLAS - Stephen “Steve” Herald Craven passed away on March 17 in Dallas, TX, after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.

Born 10/29/42 in Oklahoma City, Steve attended Harding High School (Alumni Pres.) and University of Oklahoma and was a member of Phi Delta Theta. At 6’ 4”, he was larger than life just like his big heart. He loved entertaining and their many rescue dogs. Steve is survived by Mary Beth, his beautiful wife of 56 years who grew up in Guthrie, daughters, Sara Craven and Courtney “Craven” Schrieve; son-in-law Garin Schrieve; grandchildren Hal and Anna Schrieve; sister Carla “Nan” Sweetman and family; cousins, Frank Jones, David Waldrop and Jean Martindale; and a host of other relatives, including Buck, Sharon and Chad Adams.
