From Meridian Oklahoma died April 3rd, 2022, at the age of 72.
Loyd was born to John Robert Mefferd and Sallie Hicks Mefferd. Loyd was a truck driver by trade, he worked for Hobby Lobby, he enjoyed being on the road. In his pastime he enjoyed going to the casino and tinkering on lawn mowers. He loved to go fishing and camping and enjoyed gardening.
He is preceded in death by his father John Robert Mefferd and mother Sallie Hicks Mefferd, brother George Mefferd, brother Joe Jernigan, sister Alfie Rotten, brother Jimmy Mefferd, brother Leo Mefferd, brother Charlie Mefferd, brother Robert Mefferd, He leaves behind five children Tina Cochran, Evagelina Myro,Isreal Mefferd, Lou’ann Mefferd, and Analeesia Sullivan. Surviving Sisters and Brothers Thulia King Jr. Mefferd, Larry Mefferd, Bertie Todd and DJ Mefferd. Three grandchildren and two great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. Our family is grateful to know that he is finally at peace.
