Lacretia “Anne” Brown, age 78 of Crescent, Oklahoma passed away on March 11, 2021 in Crescent. She was born on September 7, 1942 in Paris, Texas to Lon C. and Mattie R. (Brown) Eakle.
Anne had lived in Crescent for the past 29 years and previously lived in Guthrie. She married Elmer Don Brown on December 10, 1959 in Lubbock, Texas, he preceded her in death on March 10, 1989. Anne retired from the Logan County Health Department where she worked in administration. She enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids, photography and writing.
Survivors include her four sons, Donald C. Brown and wife Janet of Edmond, Lonnie D. Brown and wife Trenda of Crescent, Tim Brown and wife Kathy of Crescent and Tobey Brown and wife Stephanie of Marshall. She is also survived by her brother Lonnie Fakle and wife Terry of Greely, CO, 14 Grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and soon to be 20. Lacretia was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jack Eakle and her husband of over 30 years Elmer Don Brown.
Services were held at 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Crescent, Oklahoma with Pastor Paul Montgomery and Pastor John Lovett officiating. Burial followed at Hinton Cemetery in Hinton, Oklahoma. Services were under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
