Memorial service for John M. Lough, 94 will be at 11:00 AM Saturday July 10, 2021 at First Baptist Church, Hennessey officiated by Pastor Troy Withey. Cremation arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.
John was born in Wilson, OK on June 28, 1927 to John J. and Kathryn Jordan Lough and died Tuesday June 29, 2021 at his sons home in Hennessey.
He married Glenda Norene Honeyman in El Reno October 14,1953. John was active in the First Baptist Church of Mulhall, and the Moose Lodge. John was a farmer and rancher in the Mulhall area for most of his adult life.
He is survived by his wife Glenda of the home; one daughter Vicki Jones and husband Roy of Guthrie, one son Luke R. Lough and wife Kathy of Hennessey; one daughter-in-law Susan Lough of Edmond; eight grandchildren Ashley Johnson and husband J. J., Jessica Switzer and husband Greg, Janelle Lough, Lia Patris and husband Chris, Katie Williams, Taylor Lough, Carson Lough, Garrett Lough; four greatgrandchildren Drennan Patris, Miles Johnson, Bennett Johnson, and Chinh Switzer.
John was preceded in death by his parents, one son Mark Lough, one grandson Stephen Lough, and one sister Laverne Faust.
