Janice “Jan” F. Woodard was born on January 9, 1956, in Guthrie, Oklahoma, to Alvin D. and Lela M. (Warren) Woodard. She passed away on March 31, 2023, in Oklahoma City.
Jan graduated from Guthrie High School in 1974. She retired from Lucent Technology. Jan enjoyed her two cats and dog, riding ATVS, going to the casino and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her sister Joyce Majors of Guthrie, brothers Richard Woodard and wife Eddie Joyce of Kingston and Billy Woodard and wife Josie of Guthrie. She was preceded in death by her parents Alvin and Lela Woodard and two brothers Jimmy Woodard and Dennis Woodard.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Hayes Funeral Home from 12:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Summit View Cemetery with Chaplain Gene Owen officiating. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
