Imogene (Jean) Moses came into the world on March 18, 1942 in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Elmer and Marie (Phillips) Baker and departed on March 17, 2023, one day short of her 81st birthday, following a short illness at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Jean was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was happily married to her husband of 32 years, Robert (Bob) Moses.
She attended Guthrie High School and worked in various banks in Oklahoma and retired after twenty five years in banking in 2003.
Jean always had a unique personality and was very quick with a quip and had many sayings learned from her grandmother while staying with her in her early years.
She is preceded in death by her parents; stepfathers, Bill Green and James Duffy; sister, Norma Jean Rasmussen, and one great-granddaughter, Quinn.
Jean is survived by her husband, Bob; son, Scott Millstead and wife, Janet of Guthrie; daughters, Kim Greer and husband, Bryan of Guthrie, Kelly Poplin and husband, Billy of Edmond, Oklahoma; step-daughters, Christine Moses of Denver, Colorado, Karen Dennis and husband, John of Meeker, Oklahoma, and Carla Davis and husband, David of Seely Lake, Montana. She is also survived by her sisters, Maxine Ball and husband, Charles of Guthrie and Linda Griffin and husband, Kenneth of Guthrie; as well as nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Saint Mary Catholic Church with interment following at Summit View Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
No public viewing will be held.
