Charlie William Biggs, 93, of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born October 30, 1929 to Carl Charles Biggs and Irene Davidson Biggs, the fifth of nine children.
He married Imogene Moad on October 30, 1948 and to this marriage, two children were born, Sharon Riebe and Darrell W. Biggs. They lived in the Coyle and Guthrie area all of their married life. Charlie was involved in farming and raising cattle.
Charlie is preceded in death by his wife, Imogene; his son, Darrell W. Biggs; his parents, Carl Charles and Irene Davidson Biggs; brothers, Paul Biggs and Vernon Biggs; sisters, Marie Smedley, Edna Leonard, and Faye Warren.
Charlie is survived by his daughter, Sharon Riebe and son-in-law, Mike; granddaughters, Jacki Wolfington (Andy), Alison Murray (Elliott), Julie Grauberger (Tim), Jana Wanzer (Kelly), and Nikki Blankenship (Chris); great-grandchildren, Joshua Slocum, Jacob Slocum (Ashleigh), Jillian Slocum, Jarred Slocum, Hali McCully (Tyler), Raichyl Huffman, Makenzie Murray, Kayleigh Fox (James), Kristyn Loach (Brian), Kamri Morgan (Raymond), Dakota Wanzer (Macey), Zane Wanzer, Landon Riebe, Carson Baker, C.J. Blankenship, and Gunner Blankenship, and greatgreat grandchildren, Harper Slocum, Journey Slocum, and River Fox. He is also survived by his sisters, Lela Chandler of Edmond, Oklahoma and Jean Widener (Jim) of Guthrie; his brother, Lloyd Biggs of Guthrie; brotherin- law, Donald Moad (Jean) of Oklahoma City; and sister-in-law, Wilma Pyle of Elgin, Oklahoma.
Funeral services were held at 10: 30 A. M., Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Smith Memorial Chapel. Interment followed at Summit View Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
