Caron Leslie (Kliger) Jarvis

Caron Leslie (Kliger) Jarvis, 60, of Guthrie, OK, passed away December 30, 2020. She was born August 30, 1960, in London England, to Bernice and Anthony Kliger.

Caron was anything but ordinary. Soon after finishing her schooling in England, she hopped on a plane to Israel where she became a travel agent, and this is when her life truly began to flourish. Caron served in the Israeli army during the 1982 war. Her first husband, Jim Reed and her traveled the world together. They settled down in Swaziland, South Africa, until lung cancer took his life forcing them to leave their home and move to his hometown of Guthrie. Caron continued to live in their home and proceeded to follow her dreams to get her Private Pilots License and in turn met her second husband, Jay P. Jarvis. The most important day of her life was the day they married in the sky.

Caron was a registered nurse, silver jewelry maker, barber, and a true Jack of all trades. But her greatest occupation was being a mother to not only her surviving daughter, Hannah J. R. Jarvi and step-daughter J’koa D. Chada, but to others. In later times, she became a School Bus driver where she met her surviving husband, Robert L. Chada and soon retired in Guthrie. Upon retirement, she went to the University of Phoenix to obtain her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Psychology.

Caron loved and cherished every person who came into her life. Whether you briefly met in the drive-thru, parking lot, out shopping, through a friend, even those she’s known for years. She gave all her love to each and every person in the way they needed it the most. She loved her animals and collecting rocking chairs, small figurines, and elephants. Despite her travels away from home, Caron held her Jewish Traditions close to her heart. Her quirky personality will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her father, Anthony C. Kliger; her sister, Danielle G. Sedakah; her first husband, James Reed; her second husband, Jay P. Jarvis; her Safta, and her Auntie Norma.

Caron is survived by her husband, Robert L. Chada; her daughter, Hannah J. R. Jarvis; step-daughter J’koa D. Chada; her sister, Lisa Golding and her husband, Graham Golding and their three children; her mother, Bernice Kliger; and a host of other loved family members and friends all over the world.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home.

There will not be any visitation.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis charity.
