Guthrie held the election for City of Guthrie Ward 1 Councilmember tonight, Feb. 11 and results were reported quickly for the precinct.
According to the Oklahoma State Board of Elections results page, about 30 minutes after the polls closed 100% of precincts had reported electing Menecca Gibbs and Brian Stone were the front runners that will advance to the April Election.
Gibbs received 97 of the total 222 votes giving her 43.69% and Stone received 85 votes with 38.29%.
Robin Crist and Franklin Danley both received less than 10% of the votes for Ward 1 councilmember.
