On Monday, January 13, Guthrie Job Corps Center, BCL along with Security Student Danjaan Kaisa and Office Administration Student DAngelo Titus assisted Jennifer Tennyson and Rochelle Stidham of the Guthrie News Leader move their office.
GJCC is a federally funded vocational training and education program that empowers young individuals, ages 16 to 24, to achieve personal and professional success. As part of the national Job Corps program, it offers free training in various career fields, including automotive technology, construction, healthcare, and culinary arts.
Students at Guthrie Job Corps benefit from hands-on instruction, industry-recognized certifications, and career counseling. The center also provides academic support, including opportunities to earn a high school diploma or GED. Beyond academics and technical skills, participants develop critical life skills, fostering personal growth and self-sufficiency.
