Sharon Maxine Leach
Services for Sharon Maxine Leach, age 63, of Guthrie, Oklahoma will be held at 10:00 A.M., on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at the First Southern Baptist Church with Pastor Greg Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 12:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Hayes Funeral Home.
Sharon was born on December 18, 1960, to Reuel and Vivian ( Flynn) Gibson, in Seymour, Missouri and passed away on July 19, 2024. She had lived is Guthrie since 1969. Sharon graduated from Guthrie High School in 1979 and married Mike Leach on December 29, 1978, at the First Christian Church in Guthrie.
Sharon loved and cared for children in her home daycare and touched many young lives. She had also worked for the Oklahoma Multi County Grand Jury as a Bailiff. Sharon accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior on February 16, 1992. She enjoyed sewing and loved to cook, always doubling everything.
Survivors include her husband Mike, of the home in Guthrie; her two children Matthew “Matt” Leach and wife Heidi of Springhill, TN and Kimberly “Kim” Leach of Guthrie; Brother Rex Gibson and wife Peggy of Guthrie; sisters Diane Reining and husband Forrest of Edmond and Patricia Graham and husband Kelly of Edmond; and three grandsons, Brayden, Keaton and Talan. Sharon is also survived by her father-in-law Darrell Leach and wife Corrine of Guthrie; brothers-in-law Jerry Leach and wife Susan of Edmond and Kevin Leach of Mayesville. She was preceded in death by her parents Reuel and Vivian Gibson, mother- in- law Helen Leach and sisterin- law Raquel Leach.
