OKLAHOMA (December 6, 2021) – Holidays can be an especially difficult time for children in foster care. They are away from friends, family and everything they know during Christmas—a time focused on spending time with loved ones.
To help spread some holiday cheer to children who are in foster care at no fault of their own, TFI is hosting a Giving Tree to provide gifts to almost 600 Oklahoma children in foster care. This Giving Tree is a great and convenient way for the community to donate presents to local children in need.
To sign up and make a child smile this Christmas, please visithttps://tfifamily.org/holiday-giving/.
Please drop off all unwrapped gifts by Friday, Dec. 10., at the local TFI office you sign up for. Please ensure the child’s initial and corresponding code (the number in first column on the sign-up webpage) is located on the gift. For any questions please contact Libby Hayden at ehayden@tfifamily.org. TFI currently serves children and families across the entire state of Oklahoma, but our offices are in Lawton, Oklahoma City and Tulsa.
Additionally, we are always recruiting loving, caring foster families for children in foster care. Foster parents are essential and vital partners who help TFI provide quality services and support for Oklahoma children and families.
