The City of Guthrie will begin a citywide street paving, maintenance and resurfacing project June 10, with work expected to continue through July 25.
The project will include improvements at the following locations: College Avenue from Interstate 35 to Midwest Boulevard East Oklahoma Avenue from Wentz Street to Broad Street East Oklahoma Avenue from Division Street to Wentz Street West Harrison Avenue from Division Street to First Street South Wentz Street from Oklahoma Avenue to Harrison Avenue South First Street from Oklahoma Avenue to Harrison Avenue West Oklahoma Avenue from Division Street to First Street East University Avenue from Chestnut Street to Interstate 35 Chestnut Street from University Avenue to the city limits Motorists should expect temporary traffic disruptions and are encouraged to use caution when traveling through construction zones.
City officials said the project is part of ongoing efforts to maintain and improve Guthrie’s street infrastructure.
