Cashion Christmas

Local Cashion residents get ready to twinkle before the 2019 Cashion Christmas parade.  The parade has been happening the Saturday after Thanksgiving for over 10 years.  This is the second year the parade has been a lighted parade.  Everyone is invited to experience a small-town Christmas.

For over 10 years the community of Cashion has enjoyed a small-town Christmas celebration and they’re doing so again this year.  Saturday, November 30 a lighted Christmas parade will kick things off and include the lighting of the Christmas tree, caroling, food trucks and visits with Santa.

“Everything is free,” explained Shelly Goodmanson, co-chair for Cashion Christmas.  “The parade route will begin at Cashion Grain and Feed and end at the fire station on Main Street.  Immediately following the parade, we invite everyone to join Santa for the tree lighting and caroling.”

Parade entrees and food trucks are still being accepted.  All parade entries are welcome and should be lit up.  Deadline for participation is November 25.

“We would like to extend a personal invitation to the entire community to come out and experience a small town Christmas,” said Goodmanson.
