Pediatric Urology Provider Offers Informative Talk on Bedwetting and Potty Training Hurdles

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma Children’s Hospital OU Health will hold a virtual presentation on “Bedwetting 101,” from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m., Tuesday, March 30.

While bedwetting is a common condition, it can be stressful to parents and families as they navigate the issue. Valari Cathey, APRN, an advanced practice provider in the Oklahoma Children’s Hospital pediatric urology clinic, will provide an informative talk about common urology issues in children including bedwetting and potty training hurdles. Cathey will offer specific information about why bedwetting happens and things parents can do to prevent accidents at night, and when it is time to see a pediatric urology specialist. After a brief presentation, attendees will be able to engage in a question and answer session.
