On October 31 from 3 - 6 p.m. the library will have a Trunk or Treat along with local businesses in the library parking lot in conjunction with the downtown trick or treat walk. Tweens ages 9 – 12 are welcomed to join us at the Guthrie Public Library for a tasty experience. Participants will learn how to decorate a pumpkin cake and grave stone cookies. All materials provided. MUST RSVP for this event, space is limited.

Mondays in October 4:30-5:30pm- Greek Classes: Professor Paul Epstein, OSU Emeritus Personnel, will continue a series of Greek classes at the library. Learn to read Ancient Greek! (excluding Monday, October 8 – Columbus Day Holiday)
Tuesday, October 9th 9:30 – 11:30 AM Communication Apps on Your iPhone: Discover the basic skills to reach the millions of customers and products on eBay. You will develop searching skills, make your sale items stand out, learn selling skills to get you high ratings, get paid fast and easy, and practice safe buying and selling.
Tuesday, October 9th 6-7pm- Guthrie’s Writers Group: This month we will cover NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). We will discuss the website and tools needed to reach your goal.
