On Saturday, May 25 Mulhall-Orlando FFA members gathered to decorate the Ag truck to represent their chapter in the annual Mulhall Day Celebration. Nine FFA members rode on the float, throwing candy to parade attendees. The Mulhall Day parade is a special tradition in this community that takes place every Memorial Day Weekend. Booths, games, and even a turtle race, accompany the parade and make for a fun community celebration. This May marked 20 years since the May 3, 1999 tornado that hit the small town of Mulhall. The theme of this years celebration was “Make Mulhall Great Again”. This was a wonderful opportunity for the FFA chapter to interact with community members, and advocate for the organization. The Mulhall-Orlando FFA members had a lot of fun at this year’s parade, and can’t wait to participate next year.
