Blowing glass

Guthrie is full of artisans and craftspersons and some of them have organized a new event for the first Saturdays of the month. Home Sweet Home on the Range owner Pat Taylor wrote an article for us a few months ago promising something special, and she hasn’t disappointed. This date was chosen to coincide with Red Brick Nights.

“We hope that people will come spend all day in Guthrie discovering all that we have to offer and then stay for the concert!” said Cheri French, owner of Oklahoma Mini Mill.

The term “maker” is not new and refers to the combining of traditional artisans with the tech that is so prevalent in our world today. “’Maker’ is very on-trend right now and is a movement that reaches far beyond Guthrie,” Keely Stuever-Northup, owner of SWAK, shared.

Stay tuned for more info from our Maker Community.
