Ready, set, grab four of your friends or co-workers, design and build a bed on wheels, decorate it, and then race using manpower only in a seriously funny competition for awards and prizes. Each five-member team (one rider and four runners) will race their hot-wheeling beds down the street by Honor Park.
The race is set for April 15th at 6 p.m. The festivities will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a brief promenade of each team strolling their beds passed the crowd as they are introduced.
The Guthrie Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the race this year. This race provides plenty of laughs for participants and the crowd alike as some teams struggle with their four-wheeler bed.
