A Logan County escapee is back in police custody less than 24 hours after the inmate walked away from the Logan County District 1 barn late Wednesday afternoon.
Adam Misty Quilimaco was caught in Pontotoc County by the U.S. Marshall’s Office in Allen, Oklahoma. A woman was shot by U.S. Marshals during the arrest when she reportedly reached for a weapon. She has been taken to an Oklahoma City hospital via medical helicopter. She has not yet been identified by authorities.
According to the sheriff's office, Quilimaco is a trustee who was working with a county crew when he walked away from the facility late Wednesday. Quilimaco was being held on two charges, including robbery and possession of stolen property.
