The Coyle School Foundation will offer an all-day fun event for the community and alumni on Saturday, October 13 to raise money for their educational foundation.
“The majority of funds raised will go toward teacher school grants,” said Julie Weathers, Coyle School Foundation Board Secretary. “Other foundation initiatives include new elementary playground surfacing and an alumni kiosk for the new gym.”
Kicking off the fund raising festivites will be a Corn Hole Tournament set to begin at Coyle School at 11 a.m. for $10 per two-person team. Next, a co-ed volleyball tournament will begin at 2 p.m. in the old Coyle gymnasium at Coyle School (cost is $60 per team). Teams can pre-register or arrive ready to play that afternoon.
A Coyle School Alumni Reunion will be held at 3 p.m. in the Coyle School cafeteria. At 5:30 p.m. there will be a BBQ dinner catered by Purdy-Q followed by a Pie Auction Dinner tickets are $6 per person.
