In preparation for the 89ers Day Rodeo, as well as all other events taken place at the arena and to support local veterans, a set of bleachers are being built by Jerry Casey.

According to Casey, the bleachers built by him and his team were completely funded by Casey himself. He said he chose to build the bleachers because he knew they were needed in that location and because it could go to benefitting local veterans. Now that the bleachers construction is completed, he is looking for sponsors.

"We are looking for businesses that might want to buy a bleacher for $150. What that goes for is they will get their names on the bleacher and the money goes to a veteran in need," Casey said.

He added that the bleachers will be there all year long and benefit all events taking place at the Rodeo and Fairgrounds.

"We will paint the bleachers. It is $150 the first year and $100 each year after. ... Anyone who buys a bleacher will also get two tickets to the upcoming rodeo," Casey said.
