Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse led by Franklin Graham that delivers shoeboxes filled with gifts to children in need around the world, is in its 25th year.

National Collection Week runs November 12-19, and Volunteers will be on hand to receive boxes at 512 E Seward Rd. for the project from 9-11 a.m. and 4-6 p.m.

It takes a village to collect, organize, transport and distribute the gifts. Here are a few of the local tribe of volunteers.

Community Church looks forward to community-wide participation in Operation Christmas Child. Local project leader, Jean Ingram, is excited about the annual Christmas project.  She can be reached at 850-637-2548 or by email at jeancingram@yahoo.com with any questions.
