The First Capital Trolley is making a special stop this season with pies for sale to benefit Logan County Historical Society December 8th and 15th. Beginning at 2:00 p.m. through the evening of each Victorian Walk, the trolley will be parked in the parking lot at the corner of First Street and Harrison. Their apple, cherry and bumbleberry pies, made by local chefBen Coffin, will be boxed and ready to eat or gift for $20.00 each.
First Capital Trolley is owned and operated by the Logan County Historical Society and the group’s leaders decided to promote the Trolley and LCHS together.
“The first trolley traveling the streets of Guthrie began in 1904, so trolley transportation is truly at the heart of the Victorian era,” LCHS director Nell Thalasinos said. “The First Capital Trolley provides a perfect back-drop for the Victorian Walk evenings.”
