Mickey G Allmon, 78, of Guthrie, OK, passed away November 16th, 2021. He was born February 19th, 1943 to Russell and Louise Allmon in Oklahoma City, OK.
Mickey is preceded in death by his parents and two previous wives, Mary and Joyce.
Mickey went to school in Guthrie from first grade through graduation. He served in the United States Air Force from 1961 thru 1965 during Vietnam. After being honorably discharged from the military, he went to work for PET Dairy in Greenville, SC where he worked for them for 41 years.
In 2001 he married Gayle Mullinax and then in 2007, moved back to Guthrie where they made their home.
Although Mickey had no children of his own, through his marriages, he acquired 8 stepchildren and 10 grandchildren who love and miss him dearly
He is survived by his wife, Gayle of the home; his stepchildren, Betty, Dorothy, Ray, Mike, Tony, Lisa, Stanley Joe, and Robyn; and his grandchildren, Sherri, Shannon, Joey, Carlton, Michelle, Ray Jr., Tana, Christopher, Carson, Taylor, Drew, and Shane.
Mickey was known as an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. His garden was always as big as his heart. He never learned the word “NO”, and anyone who knew him, knew if they ever needed help, he would be there for them. Everyone who knew Mickey loved him. He was a kind and gentle man who loved life and he will be greatly missed.
Services will be held Nov. 23rd, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Smith Memorial Chapel, for anyone who would like to say goodbye. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, 220 North 1st St., Guthrie, OK 73044.
