Charles Keith Waggoner

1944-2024

Charles Keith Waggoner, 80, of Edmond, Oklahoma, son of Glenn and Gwen Waggoner, Guthrie, passed away on August 16, 2024. Charles was born in Enid on April 26, 1944. Charles graduated from Guthrie High School in1962 and joined the United States Air Force in 1966. He retired at the rank of Major in September 1992. After retirement, he owned Comfort Masters Spray Foam Insulation and Conestoga Works, where he and his granddaughter made specialty woodworking tools.

Charles was an avid traveler, stepping foot on all seven continents; an amateur photographer, who would rather be behind the camera than in front of it; and a prolific woodworker, preferring his shop to just about anywhere else. Charles was a dedicated and loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy J. (Mollenhour) Waggoner of Edmond; his daughter and son-in-law, Chris and Kristi Rhoda of Yukon; granddaughter and granddaughter-inlaw, Audra and Rachel Waggoner of Oklahoma City; his brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Kay Waggoner of Stillwater; his brother and sisterin- law, Myrl and Patty Waggoner of Guthrie; his brother and sisterin- law, Terry and Pam Waggoner of Guthrie; his sister-in-law, Sydnye (Mollenhour) Moore of Abilene, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; mother- and fatherin- law, Fred and Millie Mollenhour and his brother-in-law, Hugh Moore.

Services will be held at Church of the Servant, 14343 N. MacArthur Blvd, Oklahoma City on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, Charles requested donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
