LTC Elmer Lee Lalicker

LTC Elmer Lee Lalicker, U.S. Army (Ret.), 81, of Warrenton, VA died March 21, 2025 at Fauquier Hospital. He was born in Guthrie, OK to John Elmer and Audrey Mae (Dilley) Lalicker.

Lee graduated from Guthrie High School before earning a Bachelor's degree from Oklahoma City University and a Master's degree from Kansas State University. He also completed studies at the Command and General Staff College.

He proudly served his country for 24 years, including two deployments to Vietnam. He was awarded the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal, and Meritorious Service Medal, among others, for dedication, valor, and heroism. After retiring from the Army, he entered the private sector, working at Computer Sciences Corporation for 25 years, retiring in 2011.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Andrea Marshall Lalicker; children Deborah Lynne Walton (Christopher), Tamara Leigh Kiser (Curtis), and Karen Layne Lalicker (Cindy); grandchildren Taylor Kiser (Andie), Alex Kiser (Nikki), Tyler Lalicker (Katie), Claire Lalicker (James), Cruz Lalicker, and Sarah Kiser; great grandchildren Nia Callahan, Grant Kiser, Rhett Kiser, Avery Lalicker, and Everett Lalicker. He was the beloved “Unkie” to his many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sisters Su Waner and Judy Tucker.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 6 to 8 pm at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Avenue, Warrenton, VA. A funeral will follow on Thursday, March27,2025at 12:30 pm at Moser. Interment will take place at 2 pm on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Culpeper National Cemetery, 501 East Chandler St, Culpeper, VA, 22701 with military honors provided by VFW Post 2524.
