GUTHRIE PUBLIC SCHOOLS WILL HAVE DISTANCE LEARNING ON DECEMBER 17TH SO STAFF MAY RECEIVE COVID VACCINATION BOOSTERS

Guthrie Public Schools will be in distance learning for Friday, December 17th so all staff indicating a desire to receive a COVID vaccine booster may do so. Grab and go meals for anyone 18 and under will be available at Cotteral, Central and Charter Oak Elementary Schools.

Quotes from Guthrie Superintendent of Schools Dr. Mike Simpson:

Many of our staff members have indicated a desire to receive the COVID vaccine booster shot. Doing this in one single day allows us to minimize disruption to instruction and allows our staff the opportunity to receive the shot in a timely manner. This will also give us a test run at distance learning as we approach the winter storm season.
