The 2024-25 school year is right around the corner, and Guthrie Public Schools is taking all of the necessary steps to get the year started off correctly.
Enrollment for the 2024-25 school year opened on Monday, July 8. All students within the GPS school district in grades Pre-K-12th grade are required to register for the upcoming school year, including those who had previously been enrolled in GPS. Student registration will be completed online through the Infinite Campus system.
All families are required to submit two proofs of residency dated within the last 90 days. The proof of residency must have the parents name and the service address listed. Acceptable documents include lease or renter’s agreement/mortgage statements, utility bills, internet bills, etc.
Students enrolling who are new to the district are required to submit additional documentation such as a birth certificate, immunization records, any tribal affiliation records, etc. Enrollment will be delayed if the documents are not provided or have to be requested from a different school. All information regarding enrollment can be found on the Guthrie Public Schools website:
Medical authorization forms have also been made available for those who wish to fill them out. The forms must be filled out and signed by both the parent/guardian and the physician/provider for the student.
Completed forms are to be brought to the student’s school along with any medications that will need to be administered during school hours. Forms can also be emailed directly to the district nurse, Shayna Vaughan.
