This morning Guthrie Public Schools was the successful bidder for 38.4 acres of land north of State Highway 33 and west of Heather Road on the east side of Guthrie. The land was sold at public auction by Bank 7 through Lippard Auctioneers of Enid. The total purchase price including auctioneer’s premium was $264,000. Full approval of the purchase is expected at the September 9, 2019, meeting of the Guthrie Board of Education. The expenditure will come from building funds.
